TO RIVER RIDGE: From Rt. 50, in Gore, Virginia (just west of Winchester), go south on Rt. 259 for 15 miles. River Ridge will be on your right. Or, from Rt. 55 at Wardensville, WV, go north on Rt. 259 for 4.6 miles and River Ridge will be on your left.

TO LOT 93: Once you turn into River Ridge, travel 1.8 miles up Baker Mountain Drive to the top of the mountain. You'll know when you arrive at the top! Once there, go left (south) for 5/10 of a mile to the clearly marked first corner of Lot 93, on your right. The corner is at the beginning of an old logging road that runs along the edge, but inside of Lot 93. After 75 yds the old road splits, with the left fork staying on #93. Back at the main road, if you continue on 3/10 mile further, you get to Doe Garden Drive (previously known as Sandy Ridge Road), where the property continues on your right along that road, cresting the hill and with the corner clearly marked about 100 yards beyond the driveway. River Ridge was developed into 118 lots by the Hunter Company, carved from 3243 acres of land formerly owned by the paper company WestVaco. Most of the roads are wide and gentle and power and phone lines have been extended to most areas of the property, with the rest to follow. From the early construction that has taken place, there will likely be some very significant homes built within the River Ridge community.

Summary of River Ridge Restrictive Covenants:
Lots in River Ridge are intended for recreational and residential use only.
Only one single family home of 700 or more square feet shall be permitted, per lot.
No mobile homes of either single-wide or double-wide configuration shall be allowed.
Swine, livestock, horses and poultry may be kept for personal use, but not commercial purposes. Grazing animals must have one fenced acre per animal. Poultry are limited to no more than 20 per lot.
Hunting and trapping are specifically permitted on the lots and common areas of River Ridge, following WV laws.
No lot shall be used for commercial purposes, however home occupations are permitted.
No advertising signs or billboards of any nature shall be erected other than address, identification, builder's job and real estate 'For Sale' signs.
Camping is permitted 11 months per year using tents, travel trailers and recreational vehicles. 
No lot may be subdivided for any reason, unless all divided portions result in lots of over 20 acres.
