This place is UN-believable! Located just South of Petersburg, WV, Wildernest Inn is set on 82 acres, high on a plateau on the side of Spring Mountain. It commands a magnificent view of the fully stocked Mill Creek Lake below and pillowed mountains terracing westward toward the Alleghenies including a view of some of the highest peaks in West Virginia. The sunsets are magnificent and the night skies, brilliant. 6 Guest rooms, each with private bath. Also a separate Log Cabin on 190 adjacent acres and a large Lodge, for groups. Watch exciting wildlife from the huge deck (I saw mamma bear and two cubs there recently), with hot tub, overlooking the mountains and lake. Hiking trails on property and at lake. Folks come back here again and again and again. Business office services available, including Wireless Internet for your laptop, copy machine, fax, scanner, etc. Canoe available for use on the lake. Open year-round.  No smoking inside inn, please. Rates $85 - $100/Double; includes full breakfast. Dinner w/advanced notice at additional charge and well worth it!
